NOUREDDINE BOUDRIGA

• March 1999 – Present: Professor of Telecommunications at the communication school of engineering where he has initiated the first courses of Cryptography and Network Security.

• October 2000 – September 2004: General Director, Professor Boudriga is the founder and the first General Director of the Tunisian National Digital Certification Agency, a public agency in charge of promoting digital signature, e-commerce and organizing the use of cryptography. Founding work has included organizing NDCA, building the national legal frame for e-services, and developing a certification platform.

• April 1998 – April 2001: Adviser to the Minister of Communication Technologies for innovative technologies and intelligence in advanced technologies.

• October 1998 – December 1999: Head of the National Publinet project, a program that aimed University graduating student to start internet community centers. 53 Publinets were set up during this period.

• September 1997 – June 1998: Chair of the ISETCOM Ad-hoc committee. The committee had in charge to build the institute of Technology in communication. The task had included organizing ISETCOM, developing curricula, and establishing first year budget.

• November 1993 – Mars 1999: Associate professor of Telecommunications at the School of Communication, where he has taught several course including data communication, high-speed networks, and protocol engineering.

• September 1992 – September 1993: Associate professor of computer and Information Systems at Moorhead State University (MN, USA), where he was heavily involved in the graduate program by teaching networks, distributed databases, and software engineering.

NOUREDDINE BOUDRIGA

Professor Boudriga is the recipient of the Tunisian Presidential Award for Science and Research in Communication technology (July, 2004). He is also the recipient of the National Medal of Merit for Science and education (July, 2002).

He has served in the National Ad Hoc Committees for building the Tunisian e-commerce Law, Telecommunication legal frame, and virtual economy. He is currently member of the National Technical Ad Hoc Committee of Research
