CN&S activities cover the design and development of innovative products related to communication networks and security. Three aspects are currently being investigated:

• Network Security Risk Management (NetRAM): integrating an automated multi-process approach that assists information technology system administrators and managers in their work to reduce security risks that threaten their assets.

• Chaotic Image Ciphers based on Wavelet Transform (CHAOSLET): introducing a novel four-dimensional class of chaotic functions serving for encrypting image transmissions over unsecure channels.

• Forensic System for Communication Networks (FORENET): integrating a set of tools combining network and host forensic capabilities (under development).
